UPDATED FOR 2025-26 ACADEMIC YEAR
BGSU is pleased to offer hundreds of scholarships to its continuing, currently enrolled students each year. To be considered for these scholarships, students must complete the BGSU Scholarship Application by Feb. 28.
The good news is that the general scholarship application only takes about 20 minutes to complete. This means that your student can apply for numerous scholarships without taking up too much of their time.
It is also recommended that students submit the 2025-26 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to increase their chances of receiving financial aid.
Applying for scholarships is a great way to help your Falcon fund their college education, and can alleviate some of the financial burden that comes with tuition and other college expenses. Encourage your student to take advantage of this opportunity by completing their BGSU General Scholarship Application by logging into the MyBGSU Student Center > Scholarship Opportunities. Anyone can view all scholarship opportunities at bgsu.edu/scholarships.
Remember, the deadline for scholarship applications is fast approaching, so don’t delay. Encourage your Falcon to complete the BGSU Scholarship Application as soon as possible to take advantage of this great opportunity.
